2025 Roselle Recycles

Roselle Recycles

Join us on Saturday, September 6th from 8:30 AM to Noon at the Roselle Metra Station north parking lot for our annual recycling extravaganza!

Bring your e-waste, paint cans, books, batteries, and more! We'll even have document shredding available! 📚💻🔋📑

What is Roselle Recycles?

Roselle Recycles is the Village of Roselle's annual non-curbside recycling event. Things that you typically cannot recycle in your regular recycling bin at home can be brought to this event. Take a look at the Acceptable Items List here.

Where is Roselle Recycles?

Roselle Recycles is held at the Roselle Metra Station's North Parking Lot. You will enter from Lawrence and Rose Drive East and be directed by the Roselle Police Department, VIPS, & Green Roselle volunteers.

When is the best time to arrive?

The first and last hour tend to see a good peak in cars, but we don't anticipate long wait times.

We have been able to smoothly direct 1000 cars over a 3.5-hour period due to our helpful Police, VIPS, and volunteers!

Is this a free event?

The event itself is free, but there are two vendors that charge recycling fees due to the nature of the items they accept.

Flat Can Recycling will accept cash and credit at their station.

Junkluggers will accept cash, credit, and Venmo.

Any tips for a smooth experience?

Yes! Take a look at the map (scroll down) to understand which vendors are accepting the items you'd like to recycle. Then, pack your vehicle in order of the vendors on the route for easy unloading.
